Some kind of stormy sky/April showers
Here’s a bit of a photo dump of mostly stormy skies.
There’s also a shot of Saginaw Bay during my very last trip to Kathy’s house, by the bay. She’s moving to Colorado. It’s a pretty strange thing – a huge collection of chapters of my life closing. I’m going to miss her horribly.

Blue water, blue sky. I’m going to miss my friend so much! I grew up by these waters at her house. They will never be the same but always remind me of her.
My mom has also decided to remove the big old tree in the front yard. Another part of my life to end there. I grew up with that tree. It was devastating to lose the tree in 1995 that was directly in front of the house, but this big one that she wants to get rid of had my tire swing on it. It’s also the tree we had picnics under. The tree the laundry line ran to.
I played at its roots like a child plays at their father’s feet…
Some chickadees are nesting in a hollowed out broken end of a branch. She’s promised not to take it down until their babies are all fletched and gone. Here’s Pa Chickadee keeping watch. I don’t think there are eggs yet, though.
As promised, here’s the storm photo dump. I hadn’t yet taken any cloud photos so I’m pretty happy with they turned out. They are all angsty and dramatic. Drip, drip, drop little April showers!
One day I’ll be able to photograph lightning, but for now I’ll stick to clouds. They don’t move as fast.
